It has been a tough year. In 2019, the planet was swept by the COVID-19 pandemic. And when it seemed that all the worst was over, the war broke out. No less scary and dangerous. The war is in our house. Explosions are thundering, and people are dying. Today Israel celebrates the Day of the Giving of the Torah. But somehow, it was not fun. Jews are used to adversity. This has always been the case in Jewish history. But it doesn't have to be that way. A single battle can be won. We do not want our children to live in fear.
